Mark Silinsky, Ph. D candidate, is writing a book that will serve as the basis for his dissertation. He is completing a year-long program at the Defense Intelligence Agency on the Exceptional Analyst Program. His book is entitled "A Nation Being Built: Human Development and Counterinsurgency in Post-Taliban Afghanistan." He traveled to Afghanistan in the summer and attended the Afghanistan Counterinsurgency Academy. He hopes to finish writing the book in early 2009. He can be reached at silinsky@yahoo.com
