Summary: Tulane’s Payson Center is strengthening public health leadership and district health management capacity in Rwanda, especially focusing on the critical problems of HIV, malaria, child survival, and FP/RH through a collaborative partnership with the National University of Rwanda School of Public Health. This partnership seeks to reinforce the local institution that is responsible for training national and district health leadership as well as providing a local organization that is capable of undertaking necessary applied research and strategic information management to support major health initiatives in the country.
