The current tuition for MS and PhD in International Development programs is $600 per academic credit. Any student who is not registered for course work in a degree-granting division of the University must be registered in either Master's Research or Dissertation Research at a cost of $300 per semester.
As we have a large cohort of students that are distance-based, the school allows us to have a reduced tuition that does not include any student fees. Students that are in residence in New Orleans may pay extra fees to use the Student Health Center and the Reily Recreation Center. Health insurance is required for all full-time students. If you are a full-time student, you must provide proof of health insurance; otherwise you will be automatically enrolled for Tulane’s student health insurance plan.
Once you are registered, Tulane University's Accounts Receivable Department will send you a tuition invoice statement. It is usually mailed out on the 2nd or the 3rd working days of the month. If you do not receive the statement by the 10th of the month, please contact the accounts receivable department.

Since the Payson Center provides a substantial tuition reduction (less than 50% of the School of Liberal Art's tuition) to all students, there are no individual scholarships. Students that need financial assistance may apply for Federal Financial Aid. Please visit Tulane’s Office of Financial Aid to learn more about whether you are eligible for Federal Financial Aid and how you can apply.
